PCI Compliancy - a headache

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, or PCI for short, is the standard required by any organisation who process, transmit and store credit card details. Statistics show that companies who are PCI compliant get very few data compromises with cardholder information being exposed. In a nutshell, if you run a business that processes credit card payments, you must be PCI compliant.  The type of credit cards your company processes should be able to advise, but keep in mind they will obviously recommend consultancy practices that they already have a relationship with, so shop around! Free App’s Everyone Needs on their Apple Iphone

Hey ya’ll welcome back to another post on my computers and home electronics blog. I broke my phone a week ago but luckily found an Apple Iphone from this online classified ads website http://www.used.forsale/ for really cheap, and to follow my trend of being cheap I haev been only downloading free aps, be it games or other apps. I have some really good ones that have even saved me more money, so I thought I would share my penny scrapper tips with you all. All of these apps are free and work on an Apple Iphone, meaning they can at least work in Iphone mode on a Ipad if they don’t work properly on one. Some of them may have options where you can purchase things through in-app stores, but all are free to download initially. In no particular order- Read more

Nintendo Classic

Nintendo have returned to the land of retro gaming by releasing the portable Nintendo Classic. For those not in the know, The Nintendo Classic is a compact machine styled with more than a nod to Nintendo’s seminal machine the NES. For those who grew up looking at Mario as a kindly uncle, this is great news. It comes pre-loaded with 30 classic NES games so you don’t have to bother changing cartridges. Though this does of course mean that you can’t expand the games library beyond those loaded on the machine already. The console contains classic games such as Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mega Man 2, PAC-MAN, FINAL FANTASY and Metroid so there is plenty there to keep rabid Nintendo fans happy. Developers Supporting Old Games

Hey guys, welcome back to my gaming blog! I do like to cover all things computer related, but I will again be talking about video games. I recently found some used games online at http://www.canada.for-sale.com/ and have been trying to play some of the older ones online to mixed results. Some developers have shut down their games servers, making any type of online play impossible. Others have just limited access, meaning that some items/locations/enemies may never be accessible again. Some games have just had certain things limited, such as stores or new releases that would happen on a weekly basis don't happen at all now. Sometimes a strong community can make these games still incredibly fun, but sometimes because of the lack of developer support these games receive after a certain time they become a shell of their former self and quite frankly can be embarrassing.  Read more
